TS-RA1, TS-RA2 & TS-RK External Alarms

A tank gauge alarm is only useful if someone hears it, and the console is often in a back office far from the fill point. Franklin's external alarm units carry the warning outside. They work with all Franklin automatic tank gauges and can serve as the overfill alarm that delivery rules require, or as a general alarm the gauge triggers for any event it is programmed to report.

The TS-RA1 is the standard remote alarm, with a pulsating light and a piezoelectric buzzer, meant for indoor or outdoor spots with low background noise. The TS-RA2 is the high intensity version for loud outdoor forecourts, with a pulsating light, an electromechanical buzzer and an adjustable sound level that carries for over 200 feet. Both run directly from 110 VAC line power.

The TS-RK remote acknowledge unit lets staff lock or silence the audible and visible alarms from up to 1000 feet away, so a driver or attendant can react at the fill point without walking to the console. It sits in a rugged non-metallic NEMA® 4X housing and is paired with a TS-RA1 or TS-RA2. All three units must be installed within 1000 feet of the console, wired with THHN, TFFN or THWN cable of 18 AWG or larger in conduit, kept fully separate from probe and sensor circuits.
