Franklin Fueling Systems EVO LLD line leak detection console

Overview

EVO™ LLD gives a site electronic line leak detection without a full tank gauge. It comes as a complete kit with its own console, a pressure transducer for each line, a needle valve kit and a 3.0 gph (11.4 lph) leak generator kit, ordered as EVO-LLDS/2, /3 or /4 for two, three or four lines. Every testing feature is included as standard, so there are no software options to add later.

Each transducer threads into the leak detector port of the submersible pump manifold. At setup, AUTO-LEARN® introduces a calibrated leak and records the pressure decay curve of that line, so the installer never types in pipe lengths or diameters. Because the learned values cannot be edited by hand, staff cannot alter setup data to clear an alarm.

In service the console runs a 3.0 gph gross test after every dispense cycle or 45 minutes and shuts down the pump if it fails. Precision tests run while line temperature is stable, at 0.2 gph once a month and 0.1 gph once a year, and Statistical Line Leak Detection (SLLD) gathers pressure data during normal trading so that busy sites with few quiet periods can still reach 0.2 gph precision. Alarms show on the console screen and can be pushed by email or SMS through PRO™ Connect.

Apex supplies, installs and services EVO™ LLD kits in Lebanon, including transducer fitting and AUTO-LEARN® setup.

Questions

EVO™ LLD: common questions

Does EVO™ LLD need an EVO™ tank gauge?
No. It is a stand-alone kit with its own console. Sites with an EVO™ 600 or 6000 can use the integrated ELLD software option instead.
What pump pressure is needed?
The submersible pump must generate 25 psi (1.7 bar) or more.
Which fuels can the transducers handle?
Franklin lists diesel and biodiesel blends (B5, B6 to B20, B99 to B100), gasoline up to E10, and ethanol blends E15 to E20 and E51 to E83.
