EBW® Sealing Dip Cap and Tank Bottom Protectors

On tanks still measured by dipstick, an open dip riser is a weak point: if the cap is off during a delivery, fuel can overflow through it. The EBW 3" sealing dip cap closes that gap with a spring-loaded, self-closing valve inside the cap body. When the sealing cap is removed and no dipstick is in place, the valve shuts by itself.

The protection covers both situations a site sees day to day: with cap and dipstick both removed, or with the cap in place and a dipstick stored inside the tank, hung from a mounting bracket on the cap. A lockable latch holds the sealing cap on. The body threads onto 3" NPT or BSPT riser pipe, and an adapter suits 2" NPT or BSPT risers. The design is compact for minimal height and biofuel compatible, and it retrofits to existing dipstick risers with little disruption, which makes it a sensible upgrade for tanks that are dipped often.

Tank bottom protectors complement it. They are designed to give a true tank bottom measurement and to protect the tank floor from punctures where dipsticks and gauge sticks are used repeatedly.
