EBW® Series Spill Containers

EBW Series spill containers are the economical, single wall option for tank fill points. They are built around a flexible polyethylene shell that moves with natural ground movement instead of cracking, on a cast iron base threaded NPT or BSPT. Drain or pump options return the collected product to the tank, and covers come in several colours so each fill can be coded by product to prevent cross-drops.

Grade level models hold 5 gallons (19 L). A cast iron deflector ring protects them from traffic and snow ploughs and turns water away from the top, a gravel guard stops backfill packing around the movable shell, and covers are available in composite, cast iron or aluminium. Grade level retrofit models use a slip-on base with a gasketed flange bolt system, so they fit onto the existing riser without pulling it out of the tank.

Below grade models come in 5 and 15 gallon sizes. They sit inside an 18" wide, 8" deep cast iron manway with a composite or steel lid that lets forecourt traffic pass over, and the container itself has a hinged, locking, watertight cover. Spill containers and manways exceed DOT H20 requirements, and selected models are ULC listed (MH21091) and CARB Phase 1 EVR approved (VR-101). Apex supplies and fits EBW spill containers on new fill points and as replacements on existing tanks.
