Vapour recovery nozzles
Vacuum-assist nozzles that take petrol vapour back to the tank.
A Stage II vapour recovery dispenser draws petrol vapour out of the vehicle tank while the tank fills, and returns it to the storage tank instead of releasing it to the air. The nozzle has to collect that vapour at the filler neck without letting fuel escape. Husky's V34 family does it with a vapor valve operated mechanically by the nozzle lever, a vapor return line cast inside the body, and a spout designed around the vapour path.
Four versions cover the main dispenser designs. V34 uses a conventional unleaded spout with a spout ring and soft vapor escape guard. V34 COAX is for coaxial hose systems, with fuel through the center of the spout and vapour collected between the inner and outer spout tubes. V34 ORVR is made for the Veeder-Root 900301 and VST Enviro-Loc primary hose with ORVR valve. V34iS uses an international spout and aluminium vapor collector. All are pressure activated, with EZ Lever, Flo-Stop and optional cold weather seals.

Fuel and vapour share the hose
On a Stage II dispenser the nozzle inlet carries both the fuel line and the vapour path. V34, V34 COAX and V34iS use an M34 x 1.5 inlet; V34 ORVR uses 1-1/4 inch 18 UN.
