Load-rated access to sumps, wells and tank equipment
Franklin access covers give safe, watertight entry to tank and dispenser sumps. FLEX-ING™ fiberglass and composite manways, EBW® SAFE-LITE covers and UPP® composite manways are light enough for one technician, while cast iron and steel covers suit heavy traffic.
Monitoring wells, probe access manholes and pipe guards round out the forecourt. Apex supplies and installs the complete range.

What this range covers
FLEX-ING™ fiberglass manways
Full fiberglass manways with a lightweight composite lid and a contoured skirt that opens to 47", for Franklin 42" and 48" fiberglass and 45" polyethylene tank sumps.
FLEX-ING™ composite manways
Composite covers at a fraction of the weight of steel, tested to H20 and HS20 loads, with a powder-coated 12 gauge skirt and optional cam locks for a raintight seal.
EBW® composite manways
SAFE-LITE FRC covers that weigh almost a third less than steel, meet H20 and HS20 ratings and are tested to 20,000 lbs, in bolted, non-bolted and slide-on versions.
UPP® composite manways
Lightweight watertight covers rated EN124 Class C250 and D400, with a 900 mm clear opening and a 31 kg cover.
Cast iron and steel covers
Round cast iron manways in 7½", 12" and 18", round or square steel manways in 18" and 24", and EBW® steel knock-down manways in 16" x 16" and 24" x 24".
Monitoring wells
EBW® 8", 10" and 14" monitoring wells with bolt-down cast iron lids, plus cap plugs, slotted screen pipe, 250 micron filter wrap, probe caps and probe access manholes.
Pipe guards and bollards
Schedule 40 pipe guards and bollards in straight or double radius forms, primer finished for site paint, with or without caps.
