Overview
CardSmart Fleet 4.0 is the management layer of a Maser fleet installation. While the MAC Fleet terminal runs the pumps, this web application holds the master data and the history: which vehicles and drivers may refuel, how much each one has taken, how far it has travelled or how many hours it has worked, who entered the depot and which vehicles went through the wash.
Refuelling is followed in real time, so a fleet manager can see deliveries as they happen. The same system handles automated access control for people and vehicles, for example at depot gates, and manages car wash programmes. Consumption is checked against kilometres or working hours and anomalies are flagged, which is where fuel misuse and leaks in the process show up.
Reports come predefined or can be built to the customer's needs, and data can be exported to other company systems, such as vehicle maintenance software. Maser describes the architecture as open and modular, letting parameters and functions of the site be updated and controlled remotely through a web interface.
Identification devices (RFID tags, contactless cards, tank ring and nozzle antenna) and the MUVI mileage unit all feed CardSmart Fleet 4.0. Apex supplies, sets up and supports the software in Lebanon as part of complete fleet depot projects.
