Overview
1690 and 1691 are automatic shut-off bulk fueling nozzles. They are built for filling large tanks quickly: a 1-1/2 inch inlet, dual poppets for easy opening, and an extra large hand opening that accommodates gloves or mittens.
The right-angle body lets the nozzle fit close to walls and corners. The check valve sits in the nozzle body rather than the spout, which Husky says makes spout replacement inexpensive and fast. Cast-in protective standoffs add durability, and the nozzle is 30% lighter than similar nozzles in the market. The 1690 has a two-position hold-open latch; the 1691 has no hold-open latch and carries a shear groove in the spout.
