Slimline petrol pump hose
Made-in-Germany pump hose in standard, cold-climate, biodiesel and sulphur-free types.

Overview
Slimline is the hose Elaflex fits between the dispenser and the nozzle. It is built on a mandrel and vulcanised inside a plastic cover, and its smooth cover and high flexibility suit MPD hose retraction systems. The same construction comes in several types, so a station can match the hose to its fuel and climate instead of compromising.
The standard SL type is the everyday choice in black or colours, in DN 16, 19 and 21. SL LT is the cold-climate type and stays flexible down to -40 °C; the SL 25 LT is meant for both cold and warm regions. SL BIO is made for biodiesel (HVO) up to B100 to EN 14214 and also handles diesel. The SF types are sulphur-free, so fuel left standing in the hose for a long time does not pick up sulphur from it, and they come in standard and LT versions.
Elaflex documents how Slimline meets weights and measures rules under EN 1360. A new hose assembly may not swell by more than 2 % of its contents at 3 bar, and the low-stretch textile braids keep Slimline well inside that limit. Petrol loss through the wall must stay under 12 ml per metre per day with Liquid C, and at -30 °C the hose must bend with no more than 180 N. Slimline needs clearly less. To make a hose last, Elaflex recommends ordering complete assemblies with a KS anti-kinking sleeve at the nozzle end, with a CS colour sleeve on top for grade colours. Apex supplies Slimline hose assemblies in Lebanon.

Questions
Slimline petrol pump hose: common questions
- Which Slimline type should a station in a hot climate choose?
- The standard SL type covers up to +55 °C. Elaflex also describes the SL 25 LT as suitable for both cold and warm regions.
- Can Slimline hoses be used with biodiesel?
- Standard Slimline is rated for biodiesel up to B30. For HVO or biodiesel up to B100 to EN 14214, use the Slimline BIO type.
- Why order a complete hose assembly rather than loose hose?
- Elaflex recommends assemblies fitted with a KS anti-kinking sleeve at the nozzle end. The sleeve cannot be added afterwards, and it protects the part of the hose that bends the most.
