Electrofusion welding units and tools for SMARTFLEX installation.
NUPI builds its own electrofusion welding units for SMARTFLEX and its other polyethylene systems. The automatic units read the 24-digit barcode on each fitting and set the welding time and voltage themselves, then store a record of every joint.
Units range from a 6.5 kg site unit to heavy-duty machines for large diameters, with suitcase versions for harsh conditions. Pipe cutters, scrapers and entry boot tools complete the kit. Apex supplies these units and trains installers to use them in Lebanon.
