Overview
The ZVA 32 is the largest automatic nozzle in Elaflex's forecourt range. Its DN 32 (1¼") bore handles up to 200 l/min, which makes it the choice for heavy vehicles, plant and machinery and large tanks filled from a road tanker. It works between 1.5 and 6 bar and is meant for diesel, light fuel oil and gasoline; Elaflex does not approve it for viscous oils, water or solvents.
The nozzle keeps the ZVA safety concept: venturi automatic shut-off, a safety cut-out valve and a built-in check valve, with a three-stage hold-open latch and removable latch pin EB 280. What changes is the scale. The DN 32 swivel inlet runs on a ball bearing so the heavy hose turns easily, the 39 mm aluminium spout fits wide truck filler necks, the guard is polyamide and the poppet is acetal resin. Internal parts and swivel are bronze and hot stamped brass, with NBR and polyurethane seals. The nozzle weighs about 2.3 kg.
The standard hose connection is a G 1½ male thread, and 'RM' types add a reducing socket for a 1¼" BSP female hose end. Options include block magnet guards, an extended spout ER 312.1, an internal 100 mesh polyamide screen ES 316.1, the SG 1½" Al sight glass and an LT cold-region version rated down to -40 °C. ZVA 32: common questions
- What is the difference between the ZVA 25 and the ZVA 32?
- The ZVA 32 has a DN 32 bore and is rated for up to 200 l/min at 1.5 to 6 bar. The ZVA 25 is DN 25, rated for up to 140 l/min at 0.5 to 3.5 bar (5 bar in its special version).
- Can I fit a ZVA 32 to a 1¼" hose?
- Yes. The 'RM' part numbers, such as ZVA 32.14RM, come with a reducing socket for a G 1¼ female hose thread. The standard inlet is G 1½ male.
- Is there a ZVA 32 for cold climates?
- Yes. The LT version uses polyurethane diaphragm parts and is rated down to -40 °C.
